During the Great Depression, the hopes of a nation became entwined with a broken-down horse named Seabiscuit. The horse had broken a leg, and was considered too small, the jockey was considered too big, the trainer too old. But Seabiscuit, his jockey, his trainer and his owner had heart, and the nation had an unlikely hero. Michael Bush was once considered a front-runner for the HeismanTrophy, but he broke his leg. The NFL considered him washed up, and he fell to the Raider Nation in the 4th round of the draft. The Raider Nation has been in a Great Depression the last few years. Our owner is considered too old, our coach too young. But I have faith that we will rise again, perhaps "riding" our very own "Seabiscuit". GO RAIDERS!!!
